Life's too short to spend at the Y. From August through December each year, the amount of water gushing over
Victoria Falls, on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe, drops off a bit. This makes it possible for people to hang out in a shallow area, called Devil's Pool, at the top of the falls - mere inches from the 420-foot plunge to a watery grave below.
You must now shut down your computer, pack your floaties and run, don't walk, to the nearest international airport. I know I don't have to tell you twice. And don't forget to attach the strap to your waterproof camera, mkay?
